Pediatric Physiotherapy: Restoring Functional Mobility & Motor Control
HCRA's Physiotherapy Department delivers evidence-based clinical rehabilitation to correct musculoskeletal disorders and motor deficits caused by neurological or congenital conditions. Led by licensed pediatric physiotherapists, we design individualized therapeutic plans for children diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Clubfoot (CTEV), Muscular Dystrophies, and post-traumatic injuries.
Therapeutic Modalities & Clinical Procedures:
Kinesiological Motor Re-Education: Targeted postural exercises, neuro-developmental therapy (NDT), functional gait retraining, and active-resistive balance training.
Advanced Electrotherapy Modalities: Clinical equipment—including therapeutic ultrasound (UST), transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), shortwave diathermy (SWD), and cervical/lumbar traction units—to alleviate muscle contractures and safely manage spasticity.
Family-Centered Rehabilitation: Structured home exercise protocols and caregiver counseling to ensure therapeutic milestones are reinforced in daily routines.
