Master Harsh
A Step Toward Tomorrow: How Master Harsh Received His Life-Changing Foot Surgery When baby Harsh was born in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, his family noticed a severe inward turning of his feet. Diagnosed with congenital right CTEV (Congenital Talipes Equinovarus, commonly known as clubfoot), he required specialized orthopedic correction to ensure he could one day stand, walk, and run without permanent disability. Under the clinical guidance of Dr. Nargesh Agrawal at Child Ortho Care, Delhi, Harsh was recommended for corrective surgery and tendon release. However, the estimated procedure and treatment cost of ₹1,50,000 posed an insurmountable challenge for his father, Mr. Vikas, a daily wage laborer earning just ₹10,000 a month to sustain his household. Refusing to let financial despair dictate an infant’s future mobility, Harmonious Children Rehabilitation Association (HCRA) stepped in. Mobilizing compassionate individual donors and partners, HCRA sponsored ₹1,00,000 to bridge the critical funding gap for his surgical procedure. On September 25, 2026, Master Harsh underwent a successful right Tendo-Achilles tendon tenotomy alongside bilateral cast application at Child Ortho Care. He was discharged in stable, healthy condition the very same evening. Today, Harsh is healing comfortably, protected from lifelong physical impairment. His bright smile is a testament to what shared empathy, timely medical intervention, and generous donor support can achieve.
